May 2006: Phios announces availability of wiki-based process repository
Phios is pleased to announce the release of its latest product, the Wiki Process Repository. This is an implementation of the Phios Repository as a wiki application that supports process modeling within a web browser. This repository provides a tagging capability that allows users to define their own process categorization across process models. In addition, RSS feeds are provided for each process in the repository giving users the ability to monitory process changes using an RSS news aggregator. Phios provides hosting services for those companies interested in having their own Wiki Process site. Further details are forthcoming.

March 2006: Phios "classic" repository now available as open source
As part of the MIT Open Process Handbook Initiative, Phios has released a version of its process repository as open source software (using the Apache 2.0 license). Further information can be found at these links:

November 2003: Phios announces new partner relationship with Insight Exec
Phios has agreed to provide the users of Insight Exec, a British Telecom venture, with special access to the Phios Repository and content. Insight exec has the largest on line community of customer management professionals with over 80,000 registered users and provides a comprehensive on line customer management knowledge center & advisory services to senior business executives. Through this new relationship, Insight Exec will draw on the significant knowledge base and resources of Phios, to offer its users more in depth knowledge and advice in the areas of process management, customer management and supply chain management.

September 2003: Groundbreaking research published by MIT Press
Phios is pleased to announce the publication of two books by our co founder and Chairman, Thomas Malone. The first of these books, Organizing Business knowledge highlights the research and findings of the MIT Process Management Handbook project from which our company was born. The second book, “Inventing the Organizations of the 21st Century” presents a series of articles resulting from the research of a five year multidisciplinary project at MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

May 2003: Phios Migrating Repository to .Net.
Phios is pleased to announce that it will migrate the Phios repository and all future applications to .Net. This decision will ensure that the Phios technology remains leading edge and able to support the future and changing needs of Phios clients. .Net, supported by Microsoft, is a more robust platform for the Phios software and will greatly reduce the development time for new client applications. Patrick Flynn, Phios CEO, sees this decision as a positive development for Phios clients: “We are confident that .Net will further improve the overall performance and scalability of our software and will confirm to clients our commitment to provide state of art technology with superior client service.” This migration will be completed over the next several months.
